Istanbul is excited to welcome one of the biggest youth events which will gather 700 European students!
AEGEE is one of Europe’s biggest interdisciplinary student organisations. As a non-governmental, politically independent, and non-profit organisation AEGEE is open to students and young people from all faculties and disciplines. Founded in 1985 in Paris, today AEGEE has grown to a Network of 13000 AEGEEans, present in 161 cities in 40 countries all over Europe.
From 2nd to 7th of October 2018 AEGEE-Istanbul will hosts its second Agora. Up to 800 people will be able to participate. “We are also working on expanding the capacity to 1000 if there is a need”, says main coordinator Dermansah. Among others, there will be an Action Day on the Sustainable Development Goals, coordinated by former AEGEE-Europe President and Agora Vice-Coordinator Réka Salamon, as well as a special program for alumni members who are curious about Türkiye and the Agora.
