It is such a pleasure being in Istanbul to be the President of UFTAA at it’s called Golden Jubilee Congress. This is the right time for us to do the congress in Istanbul. I must declare being present here Istanbul is perfectly great, safe and a wonderful place to be. Everything is normal. And our delegates are having a great time. Istanbul is also an outstanding convention city. I said this because It is gonna very nice mix of Asian and European. That blend makes it very interesting for delegates too. Not only do business here, coming for MICE, for conventions, but also to take out time, great night life and there are great places to see. Good shopping and lots of fun. So Istanbul is an outstanding location the professional services in Istanbul are very good.
Your quality of service providers and even managements I’ve worked with them before, I have been working with them now. I think they are very professional. Hotels are also very very well created and managed to host big conventions. They do it in style. So I think Istanbul is certainly an outstanding convention city back by very strong airline, Turkish Airlines. I must mention that I have never seen any other airline so well connected to different parts of the world. And where ever we have delegates from there is a Turkish Airlines that brings people. So I think it is a super city, super airline and a great combination of Government, Ministry of Tourism and Culture, your Convention Bureau, the hotels, the airline and everything put together makes Istanbul a place which can not be compared with anyone else.
