Istanbul is the Winner of Meetings Star Award 2014
Istanbul won Meeting Star Award 2014 in the category of the best meeting destination of the region by Kongres Magazine. Editorial Board of Kongres magazine prepared an overview of the top meeting destinations in the region, which have been evaluated in the context of the project KONGRES MEETOLOGUE.
Within the project they discovered meeting destinations and compared them. To date, they have visited and evaluated 45 destinations in which have been thoroughly reviewed, analysed and evaluated on the cities: Natural and cultural factors, general and transport infrastructure and tourist infrastructure.
According to the study by hidden congress guests, Istanbul is in the first place with 4.67 points followed by Prague and Dubrovnik.
The MEETINGS STAR AWARD 2014 will be given at a gala reception of CONVENTA 2015 in Ljubljana on 21th January 2014
