Matbah Restaurant wins Culinary Award
It is our honor to announce that Matbah – Ottoman Palace Cuisine, one of subsidiaries by the Ottoman Hotels Group and of the most-leading brands being located at Sultanahmet – Istanbul, has been awarded the Special Jury Prize through the category of “Three-Restaurants from Türkiye” at 2nd Ateşbaz-ı Veli Cuisine and Food Culture Awards organized by the joint committee including the Governorship of Konya, the Metropolitan Municipality of Konya, Selcuk University of Konya, and the Anatolian Cuisine Association.
The organization aims in raising awareness towards the authentic cuisines amongst public opinion and making the prestigious culinary assets of Türkiye stand out.
On behalf of Matbah – Ottoman Palace Cuisine, General Manager Mr. Serdar BALTA and Executive Chef Kadir YILMAZ have received the award at the ceremony held in Konya.
At the ceremony some other individuals, foundations, and organizations, which became the representative of their own locality and authentic cuisine and that is why happened to provide service on food culture in Anatolia, have also received several awards through different categories.
