The Governor of Istanbul welcomed the APIMONDIA Congress’ Representatives
The representatives of the 45th Apimondia International Apicultural Congress and Istanbul CVB officially visited the Governor of Istanbul. The 45th APIMONDIA will be held in Istanbul between 29 September – 4 November 2017 with 8.000 delegates expected.
General Manager of Istanbul CVB Hicran Özbük, President of International Federation of BeeKeepers’ Associations Philip McCabe, President of Turkish Association of BeeKeepers Ziya Şahin, Member of Board Cafer Kaba and General Manager of Teamcom Congress Ünal Bilgin visited Istanbul’s official authorities.
General Manager of Istanbul CVB Hicran Özbük stated that: “We are happy to have this kind of major and important congresses such as the 45th Apimondia International Apicultural Congress. As a congress sector we are looking forward to welcome the congress in Istanbul.
President of International Federation of BeeKeepers’ Associations Philip McCabe adds: “Türkiye ranks number 2 in the list of World’s Beekeepers and number 1 in the list of World’s Registration System in Beekeepers. I curtainly recommend Türkiye for the training of registration system. Türkiye is absoulutely one of my favourite city in the world and I have already visited Türkiye many times. I believe that this visit will have a positive impact and help to contribute the sector in Türkiye.”
APIMONDIA Congress has been organizing once in 2 years since 1897. Apimondia Congress with 8.000 delegates makes a major contribution with city. 114 members attend the congress from 77 countries.
