Istanbul’s International Tourist Arrivals Increased in July
International tourist arrivals for July 2020 were recently announced by the Ministry of Culture & Tourism. Türkiye’s and Istanbul’s tourist arrival numbers increased when compared to last month.
Türkiye hosted 932,927 international visitors in July and 5,440,406 international visitors in the first seven months of 2020.
As the most visited city of Türkiye, Istanbul hosted 301,930 international visitors in July and 2,723,748 international visitors in the first seven months of 2020. Authorities foresee that both Türkiye and Istanbul will welcome more visitors in both August and September.
